देशभक्तों को अक्सर लोग पागल कहते हैं।
जन संघर्ष के लिए, अहिंसा आवश्यक हैं।
व्यक्तियों को कुचल कर, वे विचारों को नहीं मार सकते।

• So familiar is my pen with my emotions. Even if I want to write Ishq, the revolution is written.

is kadar vaakiph hai meree kalam mere jazbaaton se. agar main ishq likhana bhee chaahoon to inqalaab likh jaata hai.

इस कदर वाकिफ है मेरी कलम मेरे जज़्बातों से। अगर मैं इश्क़ लिखना भी चाहूँ तो इंक़लाब लिख जाता है।

• Life lives only on your shoulders. Others are only raised on the shoulders.

jindagee to sirph apane kandhon par jee jaatee hai. doosaron ke kandhe par to sirph janaaje uthae jaate hain.

जिंदगी तो सिर्फ अपने कंधों पर जी जाती है। दूसरों के कंधे पर तो सिर्फ जनाजे उठाए जाते हैं।

• Any person who stands ready to move forward in life. He will have to criticize, distrust and challenge every conservative thing.

कोई भी व्यक्ति, जो जीवन में आगे बढ़ने के लिए तैयार खड़ा हो। उसे हर एक रूढ़िवादी चीज की आलोचना करनी होगी, उसमें अविश्वास करना होगा और चुनौती भी देना होगा।

• I emphasize that I am filled with ambition, hope and attraction towards life. But I can renounce all this when necessary, and this is the true sacrifice.

• It is easy to kill any person, but not his thoughts. Great empires are shattered, destroyed, while their thoughts survive.

किसी भी इंसान को मारना आसान है, परन्तु उसके विचारों को नहीं। महान साम्राज्य टूट जाते हैं, तबाह हो जाते हैं, जबकि उनके विचार बच जाते हैं।

• People generally become accustomed to things like that. And start shaking at the thought of change. We need to replace this sense of inaction with the revolutionary spirit.

aam taur par log jaisee cheejen hain usake aadee ho jaate hain. aur badalaav ke vichaar se hee kaampane lagate hain. hamen isee nishkriyata kee bhaavana ko kraantikaaree bhaavana se badalane kee jaroorat hai.

आम तौर पर लोग जैसी चीजें हैं उसके आदी हो जाते हैं। और बदलाव के विचार से ही कांपने लगते हैं। हमें इसी निष्क्रियता की भावना को क्रांतिकारी भावना से बदलने की जरूरत है।

• Revolution is an unavoidable right of mankind. Freedom is a never-ending birthright of all. Labor is the real sustainer of society.

क्रांति मानव जाति का एक अपरिहार्य अधिकार है। स्वतंत्रता सभी का एक कभी न ख़त्म होने वाला जन्म-सिद्ध अधिकार है। श्रम समाज का वास्तविक निर्वाहक है।

क़ानून की पवित्रता तभी तक बनी रह सकती है जब तक की वो लोगों की इच्छा की अभिव्यक्ति करे।
निष्ठुर आलोचना और स्वतंत्र विचार, ये क्रांतिकारी सोच के दो अहम् लक्षण हैं।
अपने दुश्मन से बहस करने के लिये उसका अभ्यास करना बहुत जरुरी है।
मैं एक मानव हूँ और जो कुछ भी मानवता को प्रभावित करता है उससे मुझे मतलब है।

• Bringing revolution is beyond the power of any human being. Revolution never comes by itself. Rather, revolution can be brought about only in a particular environment, social and economic conditions.

क्रांति लाना किसी भी इंसान की ताकत के बाहर की बात है। क्रांति कभी भी अपने आप नही आती। बल्कि किसी विशिष्ट वातावरण, सामाजिक और आर्थिक परिस्थितियों में ही क्रांति लाई जा सकती है।

दिल से निकलेगी न मरकर भी वतन की उलफत। मेरी मिट्‌टी से भी खुशबू-ए वतन आएगी ।

• If the deaf is to be heard then the voice has to be very loud. When we dropped the bomb in the assembly, our aim was not to kill anyone. We had bombed the British rule.

यदि बहरों को सुनाना है तो आवाज़ को बहुत जोरदार होना होगा। जब हमनें असेंबली में बम गिराया था तो हमारा मकसद किसी को मारना नहीं था। हमनें अंग्रेजी हुकूमत पर बम गिराया था।

• Non-violence is supported by the principle of self-force. Which ultimately suffers in the hope of victory over the opponent. But what if these efforts fail to achieve their goal? That is why we need to connect the self-power with physical force so that we do not depend on the mercy of the tyrannical and cruel enemy.

ahinsa ko aatm-bal ke siddhaant ka samarthan praapt hai. jisamen antat: pratidvandee par jeet kee aasha mein kasht saha jaata hai. lekin tab kya ho jab ye prayaas apana lakshy praapt karane mein asaphal ho jaen ? tabhee hamen aatm -bal ko shaareerik bal se jodane kee zarurat padatee hai taaki ham atyaachaaree aur kroor dushman ke rahamokaram par nirbhar nahin rahen.

अहिंसा को आत्म-बल के सिद्धांत का समर्थन प्राप्त है। जिसमें अंतत: प्रतिद्वंदी पर जीत की आशा में कष्ट सहा जाता है। लेकिन तब क्या हो जब ये प्रयास अपना लक्ष्य प्राप्त करने में असफल हो जाएं ? तभी हमें आत्म -बल को शारीरिक बल से जोड़ने की ज़रुरत पड़ती है ताकि हम अत्याचारी और क्रूर दुश्मन के रहमोकरम पर निर्भर नहीं रहें।

• We should make it clear that revolution does not mean only turmoil or a type of conflict. The revolution is essentially a program of systematic reconstruction of society on a new and better adapted basis after the complete destruction of existing affairs.

• Evil is not increasing because evil people have increased. Rather evil is increasing because people who tolerate evil have increased.

बुराई इसलिए नहीं बढ़ रही है कि बुरे लोग बढ़ गए हैं। बल्कि बुराई इसलिए बढ़ रही है क्योंकि बुराई सहन करने वाले लोग बढ़ गये हैं।
सिने पर जो ज़ख्म है, सब फूलों के गुच्छे हैं। हमें पागल ही रहने दो, हम पागल ही अच्छे हैं।

• The sword of revolution is only faster than the glory of ideas.
• In times of great need, violence is inevitable.
• I deny the existence of that almighty supreme God.
• The revolution does not necessarily involve a cursed conflict. It is not a cult of bombs and pistols.
