संघर्ष वो आहार है 
जिससे बदलाव आता है, 
और संघर्ष से सबसे अधिक लाभ उठाने का समय तब है 
जब वो ठीक आपके सामने हो.

The way beauty sees
Lies in the eyes
Cease fighting in the same way
Lies in growing
जिस तरह सौन्दर्य देखने वाले की 
आँखों में निहित है 
उसी तरह संघर्ष करना आगे 
बढ़ने में निहित है

To success
Hard to struggle
To live on
It is even more difficult to struggle.
सफलता के लिए  
संघर्ष करना कठिन है  
पर जीने के लिए  
संघर्ष करना और भी मुश्किल है।

The meaning of life
Only in conflict.
win or lose
It is in the hands of God.
So come on
Celebrate the conflict.
जीवन का अर्थ 
केवल संघर्ष में है। 
जीत या हार 
भगवान् के हाथ में है। 
इसलिए चलो 
संघर्ष का जश्न मनाएं।

• Every person is great because every person can serve. You do not need a college degree to serve. To serve you just have to have kindness in your heart and a soul that is born out of love.

हर व्यक्ति महान होता है क्योंकि हर व्यक्ति सेवा कर सकता है। आपको सेवा के लिए किसी महाविद्यालय की डिग्री की ज़रूरत नहीं है। सेवा करने के लिए बस आपके हृदय में दया होनी चाहिए और एक ऐसी आत्मा, जो प्रेम से उत्पन्न हो।

• I can never reconcile those economies which provide luxuries to some people by taking necessities from many people.

main kabhee bhee un arthavyavasthaon mein saamanjasy nahin bitha sakata jo anek logon se aavashyakataayen lekar kuchh logon ko vilaasita pradaan karatee hain.

मैं कभी भी उन अर्थव्यवस्थाओं में सामंजस्य नहीं बिठा सकता जो अनेक लोगों से आवश्यकतायें लेकर कुछ लोगों को विलासिता प्रदान करती हैं।

• I have a dream that all four of my children will one day live in such a nation. Where no one will recognize them by the color of their skin but by the qualities of their character.

mera ek sapana hai kee mere chaaron bachche ek din aise raashtr mein rahenge. jahaan unhen koee bhee unakee tvacha ke rang se nahin pahachaanega balki unake charitr ke gunon se pahachaanega.

मेरा एक सपना है की मेरे चारों बच्चे एक दिन ऐसे राष्ट्र में रहेंगे। जहां उन्हें कोई भी उनकी त्वचा के रंग से नहीं पहचानेगा बल्कि उनके चरित्र के गुणों से पहचानेगा।

• You cannot have a rider on you unless you have bowed your waist. That is why, make your waist straight and get involved in the task of accomplishing the goal.

aapake oopar tab tak koee savaar nahin ho sakata jab tak ki aapakee kamar jhukee huee nahin ho. iseelie apanee kamar seedhee karen aur lakshy ko poora karane ke kie kaam mein jut jae.

आपके ऊपर तब तक कोई सवार नहीं हो सकता जब तक कि आपकी कमर झुकी हुई नहीं हो। इसीलिए अपनी कमर सीधी करें और लक्ष्य को पूरा करने के किए काम में जुट जाए।

• If the bad person brings a basis, the good person will have to plan on it. If the bad person destroys, then the good person has to build. If a bad person says something with bad words, then the good person has to give a glow of love in it.

यदि बुरा व्यक्ति कोई आधार लाता है तो उस पर अच्छे व्यक्ति को योजना बनानी होगी। यदि बुरा व्यक्ति विध्वंस करता है तो अच्छे व्यक्ति को निर्माण करना होगा। यदि बुरा व्यक्ति बुरे शब्दों के साथ कोई बात कहता है तो अच्छे व्यक्ति को उसमें प्यार की चमक देनी होगी।

• At the conclusion of a dispute, we do not remember the words of our enemies, but remember the silence of our friends during that time.

kisee vivaad ke samaapan mein ham apane shatruon ke kahe shabd yaad nahin rakhate, balki us dauraan apane mitron ke maun ko yaad rakhate hain.

किसी विवाद के समापन में हम अपने शत्रुओं के कहे शब्द याद नहीं रखते, बल्कि उस दौरान अपने मित्रों के मौन को याद रखते हैं।

• Not every work can be done according to others because the power of all is different. There is a lot of difference between coal and gold, but the importance of both remains in their respective places. Therefore, there is no inferior, all have their own utility.

pratyek kaam doosaron ke hisaab se nahin kiya ja sakata hai kyonki sab ka saamarthy alag hota hai. koyale aur sone me bahut antar hota hai parantu donon ka mahattv apane-apane sthaan par kaayam rahata hai. atah koee nimn nahin hai, sabakee apanee upayogita hai.

प्रत्येक काम दूसरों के हिसाब से नहीं किया जा सकता है क्योंकि सब का सामर्थ्य अलग होता है। कोयले और सोने मे बहुत अन्तर होता है परन्तु दोनों का महत्त्व अपने-अपने स्थान पर कायम रहता है। अतः कोई निम्न नहीं है, सबकी अपनी उपयोगिता है।

• The time is very fast. Therefore those who walk with it succeed here and those going in the opposite direction invite their own destruction.

samay bahut tej hai. isalie isake saath chalane vaale hee yahaan saphal hote hain aur vipareet disha me jaane vaale apane vinaash ko hee aamantrit karate hain.

समय बहुत तेज है। इसलिए इसके साथ चलने वाले ही यहां सफल होते हैं और विपरीत दिशा मे जाने वाले अपने विनाश को ही आमंत्रित करते हैं।

• Man can rise above only by renouncing his ego, because only thinking remains high in the ego, but the character declines.

manushy apana ahankaar tyaag kar hee oopar uth sakata hai, kyonki ahankaar mein sirph soch oonchee rahatee hai, kintu charitr ka patan hota jaata hai.

मनुष्य अपना अहंकार त्याग कर ही ऊपर उठ सकता है, क्योंकि अहंकार में सिर्फ सोच ऊँची रहती है, किन्तु चरित्र का पतन होता जाता है।

• Darkness cannot be overcome by darkness, only by light it can be done. Hatred cannot be removed by hate, only by love.

andhakaar se andhakaar ko door nahin kiya ja sakata hai, keval prakaash se hee aisa kiya ja sakata hai. napharat se napharat ko nahin hataaya ja sakata hai, keval pyaar se hee aisa kiya ja sakata hai.

अंधकार से अंधकार को दूर नहीं किया जा सकता है, केवल प्रकाश से ही ऐसा किया जा सकता है। नफरत से नफरत को नहीं हटाया जा सकता है, केवल प्यार से ही ऐसा किया जा सकता है।

• Law and order are for the establishment of justice. And when they fail, they become like a dangerous dam. Those that stop the flow of social progress.

kaanoon – vyavastha nyaay kee sthaapana ke lie hote hain. aur jab ve isamen naakaam rahate hain to ve khataranaak dhang se bane baandh kee tarah ho jaate hain. jo saamaajik pragati ke pravaah ko thaam lete hain.

कानून – व्यवस्था न्याय की स्थापना के लिए होते हैं। और जब वे इसमें नाकाम रहते हैं तो वे खतरनाक ढंग से बने बांध की तरह हो जाते हैं। जो सामाजिक प्रगति के प्रवाह को थाम लेते हैं।

• Unless the person rises above the realm of personal concerns, he does not think about the larger concerns of the whole of humanity. Till then he has not started living his life.

vyakti jab tak vyaktigat chintaon ke daayare se oopar uthakar pooree maanavata kee vrhad chintaon ke baare mein nahin sochata hai. tab tak usane jindagee jeena hee shuroo nahin kiya hai.

व्यक्ति जब तक व्यक्तिगत चिंताओं के दायरे से ऊपर उठकर पूरी मानवता की वृहद चिंताओं के बारे में नहीं सोचता है। तब तक उसने जिंदगी जीना ही शुरू नहीं किया है।

• Human progress is never on its own. Sacrifice, struggle and suffering are at every step taken towards the goal of justice. Individuals dedicated to the goal have a lot of hard work and passion.

maanav kee pragati kabhee apane aap nahin hotee. nyaay ke lakshy kee taraph badhae gae har kadam par balidaan, sangharsh aur takaleephen hotee hain. lakshy ke lie samarpit vyaktiyon ka athak parishram aur junoon hota hai.

मानव की प्रगति कभी अपने आप नहीं होती। न्याय के लक्ष्य की तरफ बढ़ाए गए हर कदम पर बलिदान, संघर्ष और तकलीफें होती हैं। लक्ष्य के लिए समर्पित व्यक्तियों का अथक परिश्रम और जुनून होता है।

• Everyone must decide whether to walk in the light of creative benevolence or in the darkness of destructive self-will.

pratyek vyakti ko yah phaisala kar lena chaahie ki vah rachanaatmak paropakaarita ke aalok mein chalega ya vinaashakaaree khudagarjee ke andhere me.

प्रत्येक व्यक्ति को यह फैसला कर लेना चाहिए कि वह रचनात्मक परोपकारिता के आलोक में चलेगा या विनाशकारी खुदगर्जी के अंधेरे मे।

• The oppressors and oppressors will never give freedom from their happiness. Those who tolerate atrocities and oppression must demand it, only then it will be received.

damanakarta aur atyaachaaree kabhee apanee khushee se svatantrata nahin denge. atyaachaar va daman sahan karane vaalon ko isakee maang karanee hogee, tabhee yah milegee.

दमनकर्ता और अत्याचारी कभी अपनी ख़ुशी से स्वतंत्रता नहीं देंगे। अत्याचार व दमन सहन करने वालों को इसकी मांग करनी होगी, तभी यह मिलेगी।

• Our scientific power has crushed our spiritual power. We have Guided Missiles, but people are Miss Guided.

hamaaree vaigyaanik shakti ne hamaaree aadhyaatmik shakti ko kuchal diya hai. hamaare paas gaided misail to hain, lekin log mis gaided hain.

हमारी वैज्ञानिक शक्ति ने हमारी आध्यात्मिक शक्ति को कुचल दिया है। हमारे पास गाइडेड मिसाइल तो हैं, लेकिन लोग मिस गाइडेड हैं।

• The goal of true education is to develop intelligence with character. The ability to think with full concentration is the task of education.

sachchee shiksha ka lakshy charitr ke saath buddhimata ka vikaas karana hai. pooree ekaagrata se vichaar karane kee kshamata dena hee shiksha ka kaary hai.

सच्ची शिक्षा का लक्ष्य चरित्र के साथ बुद्धिमता का विकास करना है। पूरी एकाग्रता से विचार करने की क्षमता देना ही शिक्षा का कार्य है।

• A person's decisive assessment does not determine where he stands in the hour of happiness and convenience. Rather, it is where he stands in times of challenge and controversy.

vyakti ka nirnaayak aakalan isase nahin hota hai ki vah sukh va sahooliyat kee ghadee mein kahaan khada hai. balki isase hota hai ki vah chunautee aur vivaad ke samay mein kahaan khada hota hai.

व्यक्ति का निर्णायक आकलन इससे नहीं होता है कि वह सुख व सहूलियत की घड़ी में कहां खड़ा है। बल्कि इससे होता है कि वह चुनौती और विवाद के समय में कहां खड़ा होता है।

• If you can't fly then run, if you can't run then walk and if you can't walk then crawl. But, whatever you do, you have to move forward.

yadi tum ud nahin sakate ho to daudo, yadi tum daud nahin sakate ho to chalo aur yadi tum chal nahin sakate ho to rengo. parantu, tum jaise bhee karo, tumhen aage badhana hee hoga.

यदि तुम उड़ नहीं सकते हो तो दौड़ो, यदि तुम दौड़ नहीं सकते हो तो चलो और यदि तुम चल नहीं सकते हो तो रेंगो। परन्तु, तुम जैसे भी करो, तुम्हें आगे बढ़ना ही होगा।

• Our life begins to end on that day. The day we become silent about issues that matter to society.

hamaare jeevan ka us din ant hona shuroo ho jaata hai. jis din ham un muddon ke baare mein chup ho jaate hain jo samaaj ke lie maayane rakhate hain.

हमारे जीवन का उस दिन अंत होना शुरू हो जाता है। जिस दिन हम उन मुद्दों के बारे में चुप हो जाते हैं जो समाज के लिए मायने रखते हैं।

• With the determination to achieve freedom for my people by non-violent means, I returned to America from India. One result of my visit to India was that my understanding of non-violence grew and my commitment to it deepened.

अहिंसक साधनों से अपने लोगों के लिए स्वतंत्रता प्राप्त करने के दृढ़ संकल्प के साथ मैं भारत से अमेरिका लौटा। मुझ पर भारत यात्रा का एक परिणाम यह भी हुआ कि अहिंसा के बारे में मेरी समझ बढ़ी और इसके प्रति मेरी प्रतिबद्धता और भी गहरी हो गई।

• India is a land where even today, idealists and intellectuals are respected. If we help India save its soul, then it will help us in saving our soul.

bhaarat ek aisee bhoomi hai jahaan aaj bhee aadarshavaadiyon aur bauddhikon ka sammaan kiya jaata hai. yadi ham bhaarat ko usakee aatma bachae rakhane mein madad karen, to isase hamen apanee aatma ko bachae rakhane mein madad milegee.

भारत एक ऐसी भूमि है जहां आज भी आदर्शवादियों और बौद्धिकों का सम्मान किया जाता है। यदि हम भारत को उसकी आत्मा बचाए रखने में मदद करें, तो इससे हमें अपनी आत्मा को बचाए रखने में मदद मिलेगी।
